This site republishes the daily foreign-exchange rate sheets that seven Indian banks publish on their own websites, normalises them into a comparable form, and shows them side by side with a converter. Each figure links to the bank sheet it came from. See the guide for what the columns mean and where comparison breaks down.
Every bank labels these rates indicative, and so do we. The rate a bank actually applies is the one prevailing at the moment your account is debited or credited, which may differ from what is shown here. Banks revise their sheets during the day at their own discretion, and publish only on foreign-exchange working days.
Nothing here is financial, investment or tax advice, or a recommendation to transact with any particular bank. Verify any figure with the bank before acting on it. Decisions you take using this information are your own. The comparison covers rates only — GST, SWIFT and correspondent-bank charges, and card fees frequently exceed the rate difference between banks.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any bank named on it. Bank names are used only to identify whose published sheet a figure came from. We do not buy, sell or exchange foreign currency, hold client funds, or act as a money changer or authorised dealer.
The data is collected automatically. Banks change their page layouts and file formats without notice, which can cause a figure to be missing, stale or wrong. We correct problems when we find them, but the site is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability, and without liability for loss arising from its use.
Exchange rates are factual data published by the respective banks and are not claimed as our work. The presentation, wording and software of this site are ours. The software is published under the MIT licence.
