Retail, not wholesale. The headline figures are what a
jeweller trading here quotes today, before 3% GST and making charges. Beneath each one is the
IBJA wholesale fix — the Zaveri Bazar dealer price the RBI directs NBFCs and co-operative
banks to use for gold-loan valuation, and a spot fix rather than the MCX futures price. The gap
between the two is the jeweller's metal margin.

What is a city rate, and what is not.The headline above is a retail rate — what a jeweller trading in this city is
quoting today. It differs between cities because each chain sets its own rate across its own
stores and they do not match one another; the spread is widest on silver. The IBJA figure
shown beside it is the wholesale Zaveri Bazar fix (a dealer price, and a spot fix — not
the MCX futures price), useful for judging a jeweller's margin but not a price you can buy at.
Only cities where a publisher on this page actually trades get a page, so nothing here is the
national rate reprinted under a local heading.
Sources
Each rate is read from the publisher's own page. No aggregators.
India's benchmark **wholesale** fix, published twice each working day (AM and PM) by the Zaveri Bazar bullion trade. RBI directs NBFCs, regional rural banks and co-operative banks to reference it for gold-loan valuation. It is a dealer price, not a shop counter price, and it is a spot fix - not the MCX futures price. Excludes 3% GST and making charges.
Retail rate published for its own stores. Bengaluru-headquartered, trading since 1869. One of the few retailers that publishes a silver rate. Excludes GST and making charges.

One retail rate applied across its stores nationwide. Publishes 22K only in the rendered page — its 24K and 18K grids load on tab click — and publishes no silver rate at all. Excludes GST and making charges.

Indicative.Bullion rates move intraday and a jeweller applies
the rate prevailing when you pay. Making charges, wastage, hallmarking fees and any stone value
are set per jeweller and per design, and often matter more than the rate difference between
publishers. IBJA publishes no rates on weekends or central-government holidays.
